My first strange moments with twitch streamer "CaptainBoneTV".

If you seriously don't know who CaptainBoneTV is, check out a compilation video made my me over 1.5 years ago.

I first met CaptainBoneTV around January 2020. I met him through a Loganmann811 raid. I was quite new to twitch them days, I barely knew what a raid was. The first time I met CaptainBoneTV, he was downstairs on his couch, playing the game "Hollow Knight" with his current girlfriend Patricia. I, who had played and finished a 105% run on Hollow Knight mere months ago, decided to stay and watch this man fail at succeeding at the game. I do have to give a warning though, Hollow Knight is a pretty fricking difficult game. But this man couldn't even get out of the basic first area of the game. This man was special, real special.

I decided to comment on his twitch chat. Trying to give him help. Trying to help the man stop suffering from the misery of the many concurrent deaths in the game. In the chat also, was a person named "PrincessPeach". He (now a she) was a current moderator contender with another person called "JuiceBoxings". I remember Bone was teaching Peachy about the moderator badge which the admin can give to viewers to become a moderator. I went to the knew channel points feature on twitch, and redeemed something called "Wheel-Spin". Now the story of the Wheel-Spin is a great story that I full intend to go into. 

Back to the story, the wheel-spin landed on an option called "Vote for mod", which allowed me to give a point to one of two people. The person with the highest points would have recieved a mod badge. Me, a person who had no idea that was going on, decided to vote for peachy, and she was bitching and complaining constantly about Bone's taunts on her. I wanted to spare her and give her hope. I talked to his girlfriend patty, while I boasted about how I've completed the dark souls of nintendo game, aka Hollow Knight. Patricia replied back that she had indeed fully completed the game, solidifying her as a true gamer. Yes, ikr, I couldn't believe a female could be good at videogames, but she is a certified true gamer. 

That was the first stream I met CaptainBoneTV, also known as Bone. I was a very occasional viewer of Bone for around 3 months, as my twitch allegiance still relied on Loganmann811. I would occasionally join a Bone stream for an hour or two every week, whilst he played games like sonic, mario, retro games and board games. Around April 2021 is where my relationship with Loganmann811 started to severely detoriate. I was a twitch addict back then, I would watch twitch for many hours a day as logan would stream for 3-4 hours every weekday. I started to watch Bone much more often as a replacement over Loganmann811.

I was a avid CaptainBoneTV enjoyer. I started to leak my mischief into his streams by abusing his Wheel-Spin option. What? You can't shout at me. It's in my nature ;) 

I started to learn about his "hot-sauce" metre he had on his stream overlay. I learned about his crazy screaming neighbour. I met other viewers such as Digi, Matatsuo, Twitchybabies, Tombylicious, Monster_Mike, Liam and eventually my homie Soild_Peace7. I became a seasoned Boner veteran. I remember I watched a sonic adventure 2 chao garden stream at 1am UK time. We both live in the UK, and this man was grinding chao levels at 1am like a real omega chad male. I wanted to go sleep but patricia mentioned these words that stuck with me. She said "Cmon, stay, live a little." So I STAYED. I cracked relationship jokes with peachy in the chat as he had a girlfriend at the time and he was scared of taking her out. I laughed so hard at my own jokes towards peachy. It was a great time, until I fell asleep whilst watching his stream from being so tired.

I woke up the next day and went straight to his twitch page to find his vod. A vod is basically the video playback of a stream, and this man from new Zealand, who lives in the UK, grinded chao experience until around 4-5 am. BRO, 5AM. Who tf can do such a boring and mundane activity like grinding chao levels for 6 hours straight. This man was either crazy or broken. After a long time knowing him, I think I know the answer now.

I would mention my fun adventures to Logan when Logan and Bone were streaming at the same time at around 9pm. Logan was unenthused, but could perfectly mask his uninterest with a laugh and a basic hype comment. My relationship with Logan had gone. Over the next week or two, me and Logan had a massive breaking out and I decided to retire from his community, leaving his community with no explanation. Luckily, Bone soothed my breakup with his kind comments towards me. He helped me heal from the severely painful emotional tear that Logan had left. I knew this man was special. He was funny, he was caring, he was cool, relaxed, composed, and much better-looking than Logan. This guy was the one. I told my best friend Mountain about CaptainBoneTV. I brought him to the good side.
